Connectivity and Featuresīecause it is a Bluetooth speaker, you may pair the Anker Soundcore Flare 2 with any device that supports Bluetooth, including smartphones and tablets. You can hear the sound from all directions, and there’s even a BassUp setting to crank up the bass. Both the bass and treble are strong and characterized. This device is a little Bluetooth speaker that produces surprisingly high-quality music for its price. However, some listeners may find the BassUp mode too intense and want to disable it. In this setting, the bass is amplified even further, giving the song that much more of a thump. You can switch to the speaker’s BassUp sound mode by pressing a button on its top. As the sound isn’t limited to a specific direction, it’s perfect for usage in the great outdoors. The sound from this device is broadcast in all directions from the device, creating a full 360-degree soundstage. As with the lower frequencies, the treble is remarkable. The low end is solid and well-defined without swamping the song’s other frequency ranges. The bass is impressive, delivering strength and punch that belies the speaker’s diminutive stature. I tried un-pairing the device so they were both un-paired, then holding down the bluetooth button, this does result in both devices double-flashing, but then nothing else happens and after a while both devices leave this mode and stop double-flashing.If you’re looking for a portable, high-quality speaker, go no further than the Anker Soundcore Flare 2. Holding down the bluetooth button on the speaker which is not paired with the PC does result in a double-flashing light, but on the other device that is paired with the PC, no amount of pressing/holding the bluetooth button will make the light double-flash. The instruction manual is utterly useless, but I found random Google advice to hold down the Bluetooth button for 3 seconds and the Bluetooth light will double-flash to indicate “True Wireless Pairing” mode - do this on both devices and then the instructions just stop which I assume means “it should be working now”. ![]() I have two devices, they are both definitely the “upgraded” model (A3105014, their serial numbers are 6 apart). Does anyone know how to pair two “Soundcore 2” devices using “True Wireless Pairing” so that they can act as stereo output for a single Bluetooth input?
